I am a PhD student at Soft Matter Group, DAMTP, University of Cambridge. conducting my research under the supervision of Prof. Michael Cates and Prof. Ronojoy Adhikari on non-equilibrium statistical physics and morphology.

My interests are mainly in mathematics physics, complex system, and machine learning. I am particularly interested in various emergent phenomena and nonlinear dynamics. I am also an enthusiast of the philosophy of science, math, and physics.

Before I start my PhD, I had the honor of working with Prof. Darryl Holm at Imperial College London on various topics in mathematics physics and geometric mechanics.

Before that, I finished a Master’s degree - Applied Mathematics at Imperial College London, and a Bachelor degree in Majors of Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science at the University of Toronto.

During my study, I was privileged to be advised by Prof. Boris Khesin at University of Toronto, and Dr. Thibault Bertrand at Imperial College London.

Furthermore, I am also interested in reducing AI safety risks posed by hype, abuse, and cult-like behavior surrounding machine learning in a broader social and long-term context.
